THE ONE-MAN STEEL BAND
Michael George was seen at the opening day of the Old Town Farmer’s Market 2024 season playing his steel drums. Mr. George, who has been entertaining for over 50 years, loves to interact with members of the community and has learned songs from across cultures and genres to ensure everyone feels welcome when they hear his music. He plays in churches, restaurants, at festivals, and seen here in Old Town, spreading joy with this iconic music. WHO'S BAD AT THE BIRCHMERE
Who’s Bad has been entertaining audiences for 20 years with their “ultimate Michael Jackson experience”. Their anniversary tour this year included a performance at the legendary Birchmere music hall in Alexandria, VA. The venue has launched the careers of many music stars including Mary Chapin Carpenter, Dave Matthews, Vince Gill, among countless others. The Birchmere is known for quality entertainment in an intimate and comfortable atmosphere.
