REC CENTER RENOVATION PROJECT
The Mount Vernon Rec Center in Alexandria is undergoing a 75,000 square foot expansion, which includes a two-story fitness center, pool, track, multi-purpose areas, and two NHL-sized ice rinks. Funding for the$74 million project comes from voter approved Park Bonds in 2008, 2016, and 2020.
